WEEKENDERS was formed in 2009 by Pete Hurdle and Preston Drum, they play a brand of proto garage pop that is fueled by the desire to have fun and make people dance. Jeff Klumpp joined the outfit, first as an enigmatic dancing “greenman” and then later in 2010 as the bass player. Pete Hurdle plays guitar and sings. Preston Drum plays drums and sings. The trio shares the duty of songwriting.
