about

WEEKENDERS present TIMESLIP
In your hands, you hold the key to an auditory time machine. So take a chance, give it a spin and follow WEEKENDERS as they travel the recesses of memory. Set aside all your preconceptions while this journey explores forgotten worlds, reexamines known fact and dismantles the web of lies left from lost love. Come TIMESLIP with WEEKENDERS!

TIMESLIP is the culmination of nearly TWO years of rehearsal, song writing, recording and brooding. In the fall of 2010 WEEKENDERS reunited with Bo White of KINNIKINNIK Records, who also recorded and produced the band’s first ep I WANT YOU. Their collective aim was to capture the essence of space and time in rock’n’roll form. After recording an entire album worth of material, they threw it all out and started from scratch when the sounds failed to meet their expectations of listener teleportation. After some time and a few new songs WEEKENDERS came out of the psychic mist with TIMESLIP. They enlisted the help of Shahruz Moshtael on keyboards, Brent Bagwell on saxophone and Bo White’s soulful intuition to make the sounds that now swirl before you.
Thanks for your time and consideration. WEEKENDERS hope you find as much pleasure in listening to TIMESLIP as they did in making it.
